Well, I put vinyl on about 12 years ago and the color is fading & it is starting to look shabby.
vinyl…..use a vinyl that is .042 in thickness or higher
hardi-plank…….concrete siding…paintable and insurance goes down in many places..
lic. gen. contractor
Molded concrete fiber siding (hardiplank) is good stuff.
I like cedar but it is costly.
Vinyl looks like what it is:plastic!
We have the molded concrete type siding. It looks like stucco and I love it. Have seen advertising for vinyl siding that has insulation on it. It really was a sturdy product.
