How do other contractors get repair and remodeling leads?

I specialize in kitchen and bathroom remodeling and I'm always looking for more business. I'm hoping to partner with some of the local plumbing companies in order to generate more leads (esp. bath remodels). Any other suggestions would be appreciated. I've tried print advertising but all I get is telemarketer calls.

Word of mouth is your biggest friend. Have you a builders association to join? Other trades can recommend other trades. Is there a BNI close by? It s a business network that tries to to business within their own network. Join any Lions or Kiwanis clubs and stay fairly active.. GL
